Small Business Super Clearing House is joining the ATO online services

From 26 February 2018, the Small Business Superannuation Clearing House (SBSCH) will join the ATO online services and will no longer be accessible with the current user ID and password authentication. If you currently use the SBSCH, the new online process will be the same great service, just with a new look. You can access the new SBSCH online services via the business portal using Manage ABN Connections through your myGov account or via an AUSkey. Alternatively, if our office prepare your SBSCH on your behalf, we will continue to do this as part of our service to you.

Do you need help with these changes?

There is an ATO webinar recording which can help you understand these changes. Click here, to view this webinar and for more information regarding the set up.

The webinar recording includes:

  • why the clearing house is joining our Business/Tax Agent Portal

  • an overview of the services available in the Business/Tax Agent Portal

  • choosing either Manage ABN Connections or an AUSkey to access the portal

  • answers to frequently asked questions

The new SBSCH service will:

  • have the look and feel of our other online services

  • be simple to use

  • include your registered details and historical data

The ATO online services gives you access to a range of tax and super services with one logon, including lodging activity statements and updating your business registration details. As a result of integrating with online services, the new SBSCH will have functionality including the ability to sort employee listings and payment by credit card.

To enable the ATO to manage the transition to the new system as effectively as possible, the old SBSCH will be unavailable from Tuesday 20 February 2018 to Sunday 25 February 2018 inclusive. During this time the ATO will transfer your data across to the new system. This means the last super contributions you can make using the old system will be closed for business, Monday 19 February 2018. You can still review and update other information within the system.
